By creating an account or using TrainPro Academy, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

• Account information: Full name, email address, password (hashed), and role (fan or athlete).
• Profile data: Date of birth (used to derive your age and confirm eligibility), country, favourite sport (fans); position, club name, Instagram handle, bio, profile and cover photos (athletes).
• Payment data: Billing information processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, content viewed, device type, browser, IP address, and timestamps.
• Communications: Messages sent through the platform's messaging system between fans and athletes.
• Content: Videos, photos, and text posts uploaded by athletes.
• Identity verification videos (athletes only): A short selfie video (3–15 seconds) recorded during athlete signup in which you state a unique phrase tied to your name. This is used solely to confirm that the person registering as an athlete is the real athlete and to prevent impersonation. Founding athletes who are personally vetted by us are exempt from this step. The video is stored privately for a month, is not shown to fans or other athletes, and is only viewable by TrainPro Academy administrators reviewing your application.

We use your personal data to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Provide, personalise and improve our services.
• Process subscriptions and payments.
• Facilitate messaging between fans and athletes.
• Send important service updates and notifications.
• Monitor platform usage for security and abuse prevention.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions and bookings. Stripe processes your payment information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Backend infrastructure, including database hosting, authentication, file storage, and video hosting/streaming for athlete content.

Each third-party provider has their own privacy policies governing the data they process on our behalf. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
